Wearing my Tiara on my nails
A simple design to copy.
What you need:
1. Gold bullion (micro beads)
2. Round pearl beads or coloured rhinestones – 2mm diameter
3. Clear or AB rhinestones – 2mm diameter
4. Toothpick (moisten the end to pick up the rhinestones and bullion).
5. Nail art adhesive
6. Glass seal top coat, or BMNE Direct Top Coat.
Step 1:
Starting on a polished nail.
Using nail art adhesive draw of curved line to the centre of the nail and then another curved line to the other side of the nail so that the line peaks in the middle, as per the illustration. Using a toothpick pick up the bullion balls individually and place them on the line, don’t worry if they get a little out of line, using the toothpick, push them into place.
Step 2:
Draw another peaked curved line under the bullion. Using pearl rhinestones place them directly under the bullion.
Step 3:
Draw the next line with nail art adhesive under the pearls. Using clear of AB rhinestones place these directly under the pearls and place them so that they are centred in between the pearls.
Step 4:
Draw another line with nail art adhesive under the rhinestones. Using bullion again and placing a pearl at each end and one in the centre of the peak on the curved line.
Step 5:
Place a dot of nail art adhesive on the outer edges of the top row of bullion and in the centre above the peak. Place a rhinestone on to the dots.
Step 6:
Leave the design to dry for about 10 mins and then using a top coat gently go over the entire nail and the nail art design. Do two coats to ensure the design is encased in the top coat.
